Yeah I've been hanging out on Instagram this summer instead of here. QuilsnapJack Not that there's a lot to show for it. I started teaching myself to crochet (via youtube vids) in the spring, and just started knitting this summer. I'll have to get some good shots of the gloves and hats and sewing projects I've done and post them some time. there's a mermaid tail blanket and a meter high gossip stone.
Favorite art supplies this month? Who likes watercolor paper blocks? How about toned paper sketchbooks? Coloured inks? Super sculpey firm? Multicolor glass beads? Swirly fake fur fabric? X-acto knife? Guache?
So I've been off playing phone games and eating heroic amounts of calories between work shifts.
Going to Calgary Expo this weekend, hopefully I'll see Randy Milholland (Something Positive comic); Some panels with hobbits, dwarves, maybe a time lord; buy some overpriced merch, and stuff by local comic artists.
Also, I twisted my ankle in the tiniest pothole today and got to learn all about worker's comp' forms.
